The energy consumption of manufacturing in China is very huge,energy consumption leads to a lot of environmental emissions,which makes serious impact on the environment,so the energy saving technology has become a hot research topic.Machine tool plays an important role in the manufacturing,although CNC milling machine is used widely but generally low energy efficiency,seriously affected the development of China's manufacturing industry.Building energy consumption of CNC milling machine model,optimizing milling parameter and improving energy consumption prediction accuracy will provide basic support for CNC milling machine saving energy and reducing consumption.This paper relies on the financial of the National Natural Science Foundation(NO.51275365)and the National High-Tech.R&D Program(No.2014AA041504),for the research of CNC milling machine machining process energy consumption prediction and optimization method.The main research contents are as follows:This paper firstly introduces the definition of manufacturing element and its information components;after that,the CNC milling machine processing system structure is analyzed,then,the matching relation of manufacturing element and NC code is described.The milling process energy consumption process is analyzed.On the one hand,the CNC milling machining energy balance function is created;on the other hand,the optimization problem of cutting parameters on CNC milling machine is considered.On this basis,the energy consumption model based on energy consumption and cost is created?This paper studies the acquisition method for NC code of part;the genetic algorithm is used to solve the model and the optimal milling parameters,after that the manufacturing element and tool path are analyzed,this paper gets the motor power and time information of each machine tool system to predict the energy consumption.A milling experiment is designed,this paper presents an application by using the energy consumption model based on manufacturing element in XK713 CNC milling machine,then,this paper compares and analyzes the three groups of energy consumption values,the feasibility and the accuracy of energy consumption model are verified.
