Electrostatic separation is now being widely used in separation of metal mine,non-metal mining and urban construction materials,electronic waste recycling and utilization,which has the advantages of simple operation,convenient maintenance,less pollution,saving water resources.Therefore,it is very necessary for carrying out research on the effect of electrode structure and operation parameters on separation efficiency,optimizing the existing electrostatic separator electrode structure and operation condition.In the process of electrostatic separation,the change of electrostatic induction force of the effect on conductor particles and image force of effect on the non-conducting particles is the key of separation between the two kinds of particles.The two force is closely related to th size of electric field strength.the change of the two force on the change of electrode structure and operation parameters is obtained by the simulation of electrostatic field distribution.Rougher titanium concentrate after flotation of the Gansu somewhere as the test material,process mineralogy study found: ore monomer dissociation degree is higher,up to 92.4%,and the gangue minerals existing as SiO2,Al2O3,MgO compound form.The conductivity difference of gangue minerals and ilmenite is larger,so ilmenite can be obtained through electric separation.Titanium iron ore grade is higher,reaching 37.6%,TiO2 was mainly distributed between 45?m to 150?m grade.With one separation index of ilmenite as the final separation index,the single factor condition test of pole electrode structure and operation parameters,the crossing test of the number of corona electrode and electrostatic electrode is done.Test results show that: with a small number of corona electrode,corona electrode horizontal angle,center distance,electrostatic polar diameter,horizontal angle,center distance,number can affect the grade and recovery rate of the conductor product,and the grade and recovery rate of the conductor product showed a single opposite changing trend.With the number of the corona electrode increasing,the change rate of the changing trend is decreasing.The simulation results show that with the number of the corona electrode increasing,electric field strength is strengthen and field is widen,weakening the changes caused by the electrostatic separation effect of structure parameters of the electrostatic pole.Under the optimum conditions,after one separation,the grade of the conductor product reached 46.52%,the recovery rate reached 51.34%,3.32% higher than the recovery rate of the electrode structure of one electrostatic electrode and one corona electrode.
