Dendrimer is a new-type nano polymer in 1980 s and flourishing a class of ordered assembling and constructing the highly branched, controllable structure and monodisperse. Highly branched structure, unique monodisperse and spherical shape of this class of compounds has brought a series of unusual properties and functions. For example, a large molecular weight, with vast space, periphery(or surface) showing the characteristics of high density functional group. At present, more and more attention is paid to the function of peripheral(or surface) functional groups with high density functional groups, especially in the application of biomedical and material chemistry. In this experiment, the basic unit of 3,5-dimethyl benzoic acid amino acid synthesized dendrons, and the synthesis conditions and process of solution properties of exploration and optimization, dendrimer and self assembly behavior to explore other aspects of a comprehensive study of the nature of the dendrimer. After the exploration of the synthetic conditions, the optimal synthesis conditions are found. we have successfully synthesized 3,5-dimethyl amino acids generation dendrimer; succeeded in finding the optimum conditions of the synthesis of n1:n2=1:2.5, reaction temperature of 25 ?, reaction time is twenty hours, condensation reagent combination of EDCI and HOBT; The dendrimer has good low critical solution temperature properties(LCST), compound hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties and intermolecular noncovalent interactions on the properties of the LCST is related; The dendrons in dichloromethane mixed solvent can form self-assembly. At the same time, the dendritic molecular can form a good thermal stability gel, and the minimum gel concentration is 1.56%.
