With more heavy metals pollution incidents have occurred in recent years, the heavy metal pollution has gradually received attention, in which the water quality of heavy metals pollution is an important aspect. It is very important to develop a water heavy metals detector with high degree of automation and precision measurement to ensure the discharges of heavy metals pollution accord with national relative standards,which is of great practical significance to ensure the quality of production and living water and our health.The research thesis is derived from the internship program in Jangsu Skyray-Instrument Co.,which is studied on the water quality of heavy metals monitor system in view of the overall design requirements and combined with the research achievement of spectrophotometric detection programs. The main contents are as follows:(1) The background and significance and research status of water quality of heavy metals monitor have been introduced. The spectrophotometric detection methods is chosen as the detection method of instrument by analysing the advantages and disadvantages of two common methods.(2) The structure of the instrument and measuring principle are analysed. According to the functions requirements, a overall design of measurement and control system of the water quality of heavy metals monitoring instrument is proposed with the use of embedded technology.(3) The LPC1766 is selected as the core processor of the water quality of heavy metals monitor instrument. And the lower computer hardware platform design is completed with memory circuit, serial port expansion circuit, real-time clock circuit and current output circuit hardware curcuits.(4) Combined with u C/OS-II operating system and analysis of the functions requirements,the lower computer software design is presented by using keil uvison4 integrated development platform as the software development platform and C language as the main programming language, in which the migration of u C/OS-II real-time operating system is made and then the functions and specific programming of various tasks are completed according to the actual functional requirements.(5) The experimental platform is designed to complete the research of whole machine alignment and tests of the performance. The results have shown that the performance parameters meet the design requirements, which are also conforming to national standards.
