Abstract/Summary:
With the majority of onshore oil fields have a bad reservoir property, low formation energy and the development scale rising, the condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of plunger pump has an important position in oil field production equipment at present. However, most of the petrochemical enterprises still work with mode of planned maintenance, artificial inspection and sudden breakdown maintenance, unable to accurately grasp the running status of plunger pump, not to mention anticipate of failure in advance. This not only reduces the utilization rate of the plunger pump, but also leaves behind some potential dangers for the enterprise’s normal production. In this paper, the running mechanism, degradation trend, fault state of plunger pump and its related method has been studied, This not only satisfies the pressing needs of production safety of petrochemical enterprise, but also meets a effective demand of condition monitoring and fault diagnosis technology.First of all, we have further studied the working process of the piston pump cylinder, made a detailed statistics of the plunger pump common fault types, what’s more, the failure mechanism models of some key components in fault states had been created to analyze their dynamic characteristics. Combined with plunger pump vibration excitation source, the targets and their positions of the vibration test had been learned.Secondly, this paper proposes a plunger pump fault feature extraction method based on the EEMD and cyclostationary analysis, comparing of the relative merits between the EMD and EEMD, studying three kinds of analysis method based on cyclic spectral correlation density function. We design the method of signal processing and feature extraction about the plunger pump.Finally, the condition monitoring system of plunger pump has been designed, by describing the implementation process of the hardware and the software. In the end, the system had been successfully used to get the vibration data, what’s more, the proposed method had been tested with good effects.
