The content of this paper is an important part of "Study on the safe state monitoring system and fault diagnosis and early warning system of underground power distribution and ventilation networks in coal mine" (2007BAK29B05), which is supported by National Science & Technology Pillar Program of China. It is based on the lack of condition monitoring and fault warning system of the HV side power distribution unit of the mobile substation in the coal mine. With the development of mining technology and the improvement of mining equipments, more and more comprehensive mechanization coalface of high-production and high-efficiency have appeared, with the development direction of "Unattended type". Meanwhile, it requires more strict demands on the security and reliability of the mining power system. As an important part, mining HV distribution equipment is the key to the stability of the mining power system. Although there are many types of HV electrical installations with very advanced index, it has only conventional relay protection and simple remote monitoring and control functions. Its own assessment of state only depends on the traditional planned maintenance. The mining online monitoring and fault warning system of HV electrical installations have created a chance to switch the planned maintenance to condition based maintenance. Thus, it has very important practical significance that the study of the mining online monitoring and fault warning system of HV electrical installations can ensure the safety of coal production and improving production efficiency.The existing mining high-voltage power distribution equipments can not conduct a comprehensive inspection and judgment of its own state, let alone taking the fault self-diagnosis and early warning. In order to compensate for this deficiency, this paper develops mine-line monitoring of HV electrical installations and fault warning system. The main content in this thesis is as follows:According to the actual situation of the site, a whole program has been put forward to meet the operating characteristics of HV electrical installations in the coal mine with its technical index being determined; The fault characteristics and related theories to respond to the failures have been founded and analyzed. A method is given for the important characteristics parameters online extraction in the HV distribution equipment. A monitoring device based on the TMS320F2812DSP chip has been developed, which realizes the collection of the monitoring data and its storage and delivery; The isolation contacts online temperature monitoring device based on the nRF905 is completed. The use of wireless communications in this device solves the problem of insulation between HV and low voltage. The installation of monitoring sensors and monitoring stations is determined. The results show that the design of the system is reasonable, with comprehensive monitoring data and simple, reliable and fully functional hardware.The lower machine software is compiled, which is convenient to the debug and software upgrades, and the efficiency of the system has been improve. RS-485 communication protocol for the system that lower machine program and PC data communication line which the various functional modules embedded in is the main line is put forward. Analog acquisition and efficient allocation of the various monitoring the amount of acquisition time is achieved in signal acquisition subroutine. The frequency signal acquisition and calculation of the vacuum is achieved in vacuum frequency signal acquisition subroutine. Contact electrical life prediction is achieved by calculating the contact current rate of change; The extraction of the relevant characteristics of the mechanical properties is achieved mechanical properties of parameter calculation subroutine; Wireless communication protocol between the main monitor CPU temperature monitoring CPU is customized, temperature monitoring of the CPU program is prepared and the collection, processing and sending of isolation contact temperature are achieved. The software debugging result shows that the program design is fully functional, run rate and scalability.The design of mining-line monitoring of HV electrical installations and fault warning system in this thesis has been fixed to the 2nd well of Shanxi Sihe coal mine and it has passed the on-site commissioning and industrial operation test which has showed that:the system is reasonable, with data monitoring being highly real-time accuracy, facility in system maintenance, compatibility in network, good well in compatibility, and it ensured the safety and reliability of the mine power supply to the maximum level and improved the production efficiency of the mine.
