In recent years, with the rapid development of Chinese economy, Ordinary Chinese people's living standard has been greatly improved. But, at the same time of rapid economic development, we must also realize that, Industrial society has brought us not only the explosive growth of productivity, but also our living environment tremendous change. Air pollution, water pollution, and many other environmental problems have become a major issues of economic. Among the air pollution, especially haze pollution is more rapid trend sweeping the country, so that ordinary people are not happy with haze. People are particularly sensitive with daily travel air quality especially in the case of PM2.5 data, people will change their travel routes and take precautions based on the air quality, However, the conventional testing equipment either expensive or large size, furthermore complex operates, this article take hardware for the breakthrough point, design of the miniature intelligent air quality testing equipment based on ARM.In this paper, the STM32F103RE microprocessor as the design of air quality hardware platform, the embedded operating system uCOS II as a software development platform, a software program is developed based on this system. To achieve real-time monitoring of the program display, along with the mobile phone real-time communication. The paper is divided into the following modules. Firstly, the paper introduce the background of the air quality environment, and analysis the needs of small intelligent monitoring systems. It gives the overall hardware platform solution for air testing. Secondly, the paper describe the hardware design of the product from the view of hardware products in detailed. Thirdly, the paper introduce the product from the software view after the product has been designed in detail, including the chip data acquisition, display, and the phone-side software design. Through the hardware platform display, size analysis, the system achieves the desired requirements. have better price and higher commercial prospects. Finally, the paper summarizes the work, showing the effect of the product realization, also point out the shortcomings of the present system exists, and the direction of further work.
