Various underground water environment problems caused by open pit mining. Open pit mining erosion, leading to changes in the local groundwater level drop and groundwater flow field; in the process of mining on groundwater pumping, susceptible to changes in the quantity of water resources; open mining in under the action of rainfall leaching, the harmful substances into the groundwater circulation and jeopardize the safety of groundwater. When these groundwater environmental problems, will lead to all kinds of serious consequences. This study took a mine of Panzhihua City as the research object, for the open-pit mines and the surrounding groundwater environment problem, by numerical simulation method, the groundwater level of the mine area, water quality aspects of simulation and identification of correction, in order to provide a basis for scientific research in the mining of groundwater. Derived study:(1) The change of precipitation with the month, the underground water level is dynamic change trend. In non mining area of river runoff effect on the dynamic of groundwater in performance in the wet period river runoff increased, the rise of ground water level; river during the dry season runoff decreases, groundwater level decline. And for the mining area, mining intensity in the same case, the River Feng, dry season can in a certain extent, inhibited the decrease of groundwater level. Mining quantity is the main factor that causes the change of groundwater level in the human factors. Mining volume continued to increase, the underground water level showed a downward trend.(2)Water equilibrium shows that the main reason for the groundwater exploitation of groundwater level decline, due to the acceptance of the area and the deep shallow lateral on a limited scale, the depletion of groundwater mainly use is storage capacity and weak permeable aquifer elastic water release, so deep into the water as a whole a downward trend. From a long-term and sustainable perspective, the deep level should be controlled, in a reasonable planning under the mining.(3)It will be 2014 to 2024 as the forecast period, three kinds of different mining conditions of groundwater dynamics simulation. The results showed that the water level of groundwater monitoring well was different under different exploitation intensity. Through the comparison, it can be seen, and 2014 initial water level value compared to maintain the present situation in the mining intensity and prediction after 10 years of groundwater level still show a downward trend, but the intensity of mining is reduced by 10%, water monitoring wells value rebounded, when the mining strength increased by 10%, the water level decreased significantly increased.(4) The water quality analysis of sulfate, vanadium, iron as the main identification of the mining area of pollution factors. Sulfate range is concentrated in the vicinity of the mining platform, only the local sulfate diffusion and migration to the ore section, the concentration ratio of the third class groundwater quality standard value is 1.72 times higher. The distribution of vanadium is also confined to the mining platform, its scope is small, the concentration is small, only 0.991-2.262 g/L, and the pollution is very small. Rail shift range is bigger, at the same time as hydraulic gradient in and Ping mine larger, and therefore local area has spread to distance mining 865 m. But the pollution concentration in the central area of the mining area is not large, only 2 times of the standard value of class III, so as long as the preventive measures, the impact on the groundwater is not.
