Underground mining of mineral resources will inevitably interfere the balance of the original system of groundwater, the groundwater discharging from the mine producing process will drawdown groundwater level, water scarcity, especially in the Northwest region of Chinese mainland, the ecological environment is fragile, and the water resource is deficient. The main sources of water for production and living is groundwater, groundwater also maintain the system of regional ecological balance as the main components. Paper establishes numerical simulation model of groundwater of Jinjie Mine in northern Shanxi by Visual MODFLOW software to predict the impact of coal mining for regional groundwater levels and its quantity. Through analysis, it provides conservation reference for mining work and groundwater reserve.Select natural boundary of groundwater and river watershed as the delimitation range of simulated model, the model will simulate the vertical range through taking it into six structures which were namely established natural state model and mining state model for analysis, and comparison of before and after coal mining. The use of numerical simulation model was built to predict the normal water inflow goaf and the maximum of different Face, combined water inflow hydrogeological analogy method to draw generalized mine coal mining conditions, summarizing the effect of the groundwater level and gushing water wells:(1) The impact on groundwater levels:since drainage work begins, the water level began to decline; after the end of the working surface mining, the water level will not rise rapidly, there will be a downward trend; after the gushing water of goaf becomes stable, level began a slow recovery. Part of the study area will be unconfined aquifer dewatering, water drop location Face mainly occurs during deep mining to face in the center drawdown decreases outwards, different regions of the decline in water level differences.(2) The impact on the aquifer water exchange:the coal mining causes the aquifer water and natural state of total exchange increased by nearly four times, the acception of the upper and lower aquifer recharge significantly increased; Zhiluo weathered bedrock moisture water layer up one row is essentially the same, but the amount of water discharged to the coal mining level increased by nearly two-fold; Quaternary unconfined aquifer down excretion increased by nearly 0.5 times.
