In this paper, surface roughness, cutting force, tool wear and chip morphology are used as the indexes of cutting performance of titanium alloy, the influence of cutting parameters on the cutting performance of titanium alloy are studied by means of surface roughness, cutting force, tool wear and chip morphology. Then compare the cutting performance of different titanium alloy. The experimental results show that: the surface roughness of TC4 decreases with the increase of cutting speed, increases with the increase of feed, the influence of feed on the surface roughness is the most, followed by the cutting speed, therefore, the larger cutting speed and smaller feed, the smaller surface roughness and the better cutting performance. The Fx of TC4 is minimum, with the increase of cutting speed,Fy,Fz and F? increase first and then decrease, and increase with the increase of feed and cutting depth regardless of mutation point of cutting force.when the cutting speed is larger, feed and cutting depth is smaller, the cutting force is smaller, and the cutting performance is better; The cutting force value of different titanium alloys is: TC18>TA15>TA2.The tool wear of TC11 and the degree of segmentation of TA15 increase with the increase of cutting speed, thus, the cutting performance is poor. The tool wear of TC11 is the largest, followed by TC4,TA2 is the least,so the cutting performance of TC11 is poorer,TC4 follows,TA2 is the best. The degree of segmentation of TC18 is the largest, followed by TA15,TA2 is the least,so the TC18 cutting performance is poorer,TA15 follows,TA2 is the best.
