In recent years, the use of hard-to-cut materials like titanium and nickelbased alloys as construction material is continuously increasing, they are widely applyed in aerospace.Because of the difficulty characteristics of this materials, which appeared tool wear, low cutting speed, low production efficiency of chip scroll el.in the process of machining. In order to satisfy the high precision and high efficiency production requirement of aviation parts, considerable lubricoolant strategies were continuously applied in the machining of difficult-tocut materials such as minimum quantity lubrication, superheated water vapor as coolant and lubricant.Because of its limitations in the cutting process, high pressure cooling lubrication technology as a new type of cooling lubrication became the focus of high efficiency cutting of hard machining materials. This paper analyzed the characteristics of jet cutting fluid pressure based on the jetting structure, velocity and flow rate. The permeability of cutting fluid under high pressure jet state was analyzed by using capillary theory, the lubrication characteristics of the coolant jet and the rake face friction was analyzed by boundary lubrication theory. What's more, the cooling effects of high-pressure lubricoolant supplying was characterized by heat transfer coefficient and heat flux. The variation curves of cutting force and surface roughness were analyzed in the hard-to-cut materials GH4169 and TC11 turning experiment with different cooling conditions. The influence of the cutting force and surface roughness was researched by changing the pressure in the high pressure jetting cutting fluid experiment.Chip formation was compared through the contrast test of cooling conditions. The chip serration degree and chip shear band inclination were analyzed by changing the pressure in the high pressure jetting cutting fluid experiment. The morphology of the tool wear and breakage was observed,in which was used in the GH4169 and TC11 cooling conditions contrast test and the high pressure jet parameters variations test above. It analyzed the wear and damage morphology of different workpiece materials under different conditions. It gained more attentions for the influence of the flank wear value, which measured under different cooling conditions. The influence of different cooling methods on the tool groove wear in the cutting process of GH4169 and TC11 was analyzed. The wear mechanism of high pressure cooling was explained based on the experimental phenomenon.
