The study choose silica as the main raw materials, silica fume, fused silica, laiyang soil as auxiliary materials according to the production environment of coke oven chamber and the property of silica brick. Through exploring test to determine the best critical particle size. Types of raw materials, particle composition and size distribution impact on physical properties, mechanical properties, thermal shock stability of repair material is discussed through detailed test. The influence of the mineralization agent on the quartz crystal transformation of the repair material was discussed. The effects of binding agent on the physical properties, mechanical properties and wetting properties of the repaired materials were discussed, and determine the best proportion. the study have flow conclusions.?1? The volume stability of waste silica brick is better, but smaller bulk density and low strength. With adding waste silica brick, the bulk density and strength of repaired materials are reduced, the volume of stability has no significant change, so the waste silica brick is not suitable for repaired materials.?2? Critical particle size and grain composition changes influence the particle packing density, there by affecting physical properties, mechanical properties and thermal shock resistance of the specimen, with increase of the grain composition of q values, each sample performance was first after the bad trend. According to the test and according to the requirements of the specific construction process, the final determination of the critical particle size of 2mm, particle grain composition is q=0.30.?3? During the process of repair material using, the volume change duo to the change of crystal form by high temperature. If the change in the repair process to make the volume to achieve a more stable state, the subsequent use of the process is not easy due to the volume change and fall off. This paper explores the Fe2O3, CaO, MnO2 as mineralizer have the effect on repair materials properties, found that Fe2O3, CaO as mineralization agent can effectively promote quartz conversion to tridymite and cristobalite,and have higher conversion efficiency. combining the two mineralizer, a comprehensive comparison of quartz conversion rate and content of each substance found the best composition is Fe2O3-1%, CaO-2%.?4? Bonding agent is the key to obtain temporary bonding strength, and it is also the key to repair the furnace wall effectively. The three kinds of bonding agent, sodium tripolyphosphate, sodium hexametaphosphate and sodium silicate effect on the repair material mechanical properties and property of silica brick infiltration were discussion. Combining different bonding agent and ultimately determine sodium hexametaphosphate- 6%, the sodium silicate- 6% for the composite bonding agent.?5? Within reasonable repairing temperature and holding time,it's performance would achieve in a good condition that repairing layer didn't fall from the wall during the course of production and operation. The experimental results show that repairing material would have a high bonding strength after keeping 20min30min at1200?.
