The topic of research comes from the project of cooperation between University and Hangzhou ×× CNC Machine Tool Co.,Ltd.Design and optimization of the machine tool which is used to machining crankshaft end-face is the content of the research.The ordinary machine tool and the combination machine tool cannot meet the request and efficiency of machining because of the special shape of crankshaft.The structure of crankshaft end-face machining center was design and optimization was established to improve dynamic performance of machine tool,and it's important to improve the efficiency and accuracy of machining crankshaft and automatic level.The foreign and domestic researches about machine tool were compared in brief,and analyzed advantages and disadvantages of the research of dynamic performance.The analysis of layout of machine tool based on the characteristics of crankshaft was established.The design of structure and 3D model was founded with Solidworks.The mechanical models of key parts of machine tool were established.With kinematics and dynamics simulation,the displacement,velocity and acceleration stress of these key parts were received.The finite element model of machine tool was established based on the results of kinematics simulation in ADAMS.And analyze the static and dynamic performance of the key parts with Workbench to make clear the weakness part of machine tool and the reason of weakness.The optimization of machine tool was established based on the reason of weakness.It verified the rationality of moving parts and provided the important theoretical basis for the choosing of the motors and following analysis.Comparing the static and dynamic performance before and after,it confirmed the purpose of improving the dynamic performance and saving the material was achieved.The structure of machining center is designed,the T and integral bed and non-gravity driven and non-asymmetric column is very meaningful for dynamic performance.The structure design is not related to electrical equipment and control system,and the research is established in computer and no real experiment,so the model should be improved based on actual situation.
