The effective transmission of energy has almost penetrated into every field of industry,then the technology of enhanced heat transfer has a very important significance for the world's energy saving and environmental protection.Nanofluids is a new type of heat transfer working fluid with high thermal conductivity,which is formed by adding nanoparticles into the base fluids.At present,the research of nanofluids is mainly from the experiment.However,it is difficult to reveal the mechanism of heat transfer enhancement of nanofluids by this method,which limits the development of nano technology.Therefore,using molecular dynamics simulations method to analysis the mechanism of nanofluids transport properties has a great significance.First of all,according to the molecular dynamics simulations' theory,a simulation system is established to investigate nanofluids' transport parameters,including thermal conductivity and viscosity.Subsequently,most of the important factors about the nanofluids' thermal conductivity and viscosity,such as temperature,volume fraction,nanoparticle size,are discussed in the molecular dynamics simulations.Finally,according to the results of molecular dynamics simulations,the mechanism of nanofluids transport properties will be discussed.Through molecular dynamics simulations of different kinds of nanofluids,the relations between the thermal conductivity of nanofluids and the temperature,the volume fraction and the type of nanoparticles are found.At the same time,the change rules of the viscosity of nanofluids with temperature,volume fraction are also found.Meanwhile,by analyzing the results of molecular dynamics simulations and the change rules,it is believed that the change of thermal conductivity and viscosity of nanofluids is mainly due to the change of nanofluids' microstructure which caused by the addition of nanoparticles,then the influence of this change is discussed.
