Ceramide as important active ingredients in cosmetics can significantly improve the skin moisturizing ability, effectively postphone skin aging. But a highly hydrophobic structure makes it insoluble in water systerms and has low temperature crystallization, thus greatly limits of its application in cosmetics. The structure of the Sodium Dilauramidoglutamide Lysine(DLGL) is similar to ceramide, the peculiar structure of it leads to lower critical micelle concentration (CMC) and efficient reduction in the interfacial tension. So we used the DLGL to prepare nanoemulsions containing ceramide, in order to solve the problem of ceramide applications.Based on the molecular structure of DLGL and ceramide, the interaction between the two groups was investigated by polarizing optical microscopy, X-ray diffraction and differential scanning calorimetry. The results showed that DLGL could significantly decrease the crystallinity of ceramide. And the Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy showed that there was only physical interaction between the two groups, and there was no chemical reaction. On this basis, we studied the preparation of nanoemulsion containing ceramide with DLGL as surfactant. After the optimization of preparation and formulation, we choose a homogenization pressure of 30 MPa and three processing cycles were used to prepare ceramide-2 nanoemulsions, and the most suitable oils was caprylic/capric triglyceride. At the same time, the effects of composition on the particle size, dispersion coefficient and Zeta potential were studied by response surface methodology, and the effects of various factors on the effect of nanoemulsion particle size were obtained:concentration of NaCl> concentration of ceramide> concentration of DLGL.In this paper, the factors affecting the stability of the nano emulsion were investigated, and the instability mechanism of the ceramide containing nano emulsion was also investigated. Factors including storage time, storage temperature, short carbon chain alcohol and ionic surfactants and other additives. The experimental results show that the storage of ceramide nanoemulsion at room temperature for one month, the particle size has no obvious changes; when storage at high temperature 50? for a month, the particle size is obviously increased. The moderate amount of fourteen alcohol, sixteen alcohol and ionic surfactant is beneficial to reduce the particle size of the nano emulsion system, and improve the stability of the systemDLGL molecules have good compatibility with our skin, by contrast the permeability of ceramide nanoemulsions emulsied with DLGL with ceramide nanoemulsions with ordinary emulsifier. The results showed that DLGL as a Gemini surfactant that accumulates the penetration of ceramide.
