Wireless sensor network is the integration of embedded technology, wireless communication technology, sensor technology, and other technologies. It is a kind of network self-organized by many sensor nodes. With its mature technology, wireless sensor networks have a wide range of applications in many important areas such as military, medical and industrial, etc.Since wireless sensor networks are deploying easy, cost controllable, and function scalable, it can be better applied to harsh environments, difficult terrain in mountains for the monitoring job. This can greatly reduce the workload of staff and the risk of operations, improve economic efficiency overall. Our research background is the Shanxi coal-bed methane development project. Considering there may be both video stream and normal information in the monitoring data, normal wireless sensor nodes can not meet the requirements of the development of coal-bed methane, and normal video surveillance node can not meet the development requirements either. Therefore, this paper designed the wireless sensor node for coalbed mathane development in consideration of demand, performance, power consumption and other factors. Then, because of the unreliable protocol, energy failure, noise and other reasons, the uploaded data of wireless sensor node tend to be incomplete. This will cause much inconvenience in data analysis. Therefore, we need to estimating the missing data value. In this paper, we put forward one kind of method of combining with modified Frequent Itemsets mining and NN search(FINN) to make estimation for the missing data in the wireless sensor network and use estimated data to replace missing value. Because the final operation only uses similar data, it is unnecessary to use all the data, so it can reduce unnecessary error and enhance precision of estimated value.
