Pure cotton fabric made from natural fibers,not only itself can degrade and green,and the material is qualitative soft,permeability and hygroscopicity is superior,also has the good wearing experience,therefore has been widely used.At the same time,the elasticity of the cotton fiber is poor,but it has strong hydrophilicity and it can combined with the fiber swelling,so when cleaning and daily use process,cotton fabric will produce deformation or shrink,affect beautiful and application.After the anti-wrinkle finishing its wrinkle and shrink case was improved to some extent,but its tear and breaking strength and other mechanical properties will be significantly lower.In order to reduce the decrease in the strength of cotton fabric after the anti-wrinkle finishing,can add softening agent,fiber protective agent and other additives in the finishing agent.Oxidized polyethylene wax is a product which is generated polyethylene wax under certain conditions,due to the effect of oxidant and oxidation reaction.The oxidized polyethylene wax microemulsion made by the reaction of oxidation has film forming ability,high melting point,good flexibility and compatibility features,application range,can be used in conjunction with other additives,especially in the textile industry,can be used as stiffening agent,softening agent,fiber protective agent,etc.But in general,the preparation of excellent microemulsion use emulsion dosage is bigger,and the solid content is low,reduced its practical value,which makes the preparation of high solid content,less dosage of emulsifier and the stability of the nanoscale particle size of oxidized polyethylene wax emulsion has focus.This article first through the early exploration and research,innovative added the dispersant in the emulsion preparation,preparation of the stable performance of oxidized polyethylene wax emulsion.And microemulsion for the experiments,the optimal ratio of material and the optimum preparation conditions are given: emulsifying temperature 130 ?,emulsifying 60 min,KOH dosage 0.6 g,dosage of emulsifier 25%,dispersant 0.05 g.The preparation of oxidized polyethylene wax emulsion used with durable press finishing agent and,by changing the dosage,investigate its effect on the properties of fabric.The results showed that the oxidation of polyethylene wax microemulsion as a fiber protective agent can significantly improve the fabric performance,make the fabric after finishing soft not hard,plump and crisp,and can significantly improve the fiber tensile strength,tear strength,shrinkage and pilling resistance,but will make the whiteness of the treated fabrics,DP,recovery Angle,permeability is slightly down.Comprehensive consideration,the dosage of the oxidized polyethylene wax microemulsion in 40 g/L,the effect is best.
