Stave is a very important water-cooled blast furnace parts,the quality of staves can directly affect the life of the port to the blast furnace.As technology advances,more and more new technologies being used in the blast furnace,previous ordinary cast iron cooling wall is not able to meet the production needs in the current technical conditions.In order to increase the life of the blast furnace, and now we make more use of copper cooling wall as a blast furnace cooling device.So factories need do research on new copper cooling stave to improve the cooling effect of the cooling wall to increase the life of the furnace.This article Introduces the research background and current situation stave in the first,then use stave thermal test and finite element numerical simulation combining research methods to analyze the stave.In the first,conducted a thermal test to the stave,measure the average temperature of average temperature of the noumenon, the stave the hot and the cold surfaces, and the brisk-inlaid hot surface,then according to the results obtained thermal test, Calculate the boundary conditions of temperature field and thermal stress field simulation required for the stave,that is to say,That is the heat transfer coefficient of stave and the atmosphere, the transfer coefficient of stave and the cooling water, heat transfer coefficient of the Stave and furnace gas,then use finite element software ANSYS to conduct a stave temperature field simulation,in the end,we will simulate the results of temperature field by thermal stres,and those result can obtain the simulation results of thermal stress field.By comparing the experimental results with the simulation results, we find that the data are very similar.This shows that the model of temperature field and thermal stress field is feasible,so we can use this method to simulate the stave to provide a theoretical basis for the design and installation of the stave. Factories can find the stave thermal defects from the simulation results of the stave,through the improvement of weaknesses,They can also achieve the goal of improving the overall life of the blast furnace.
