Refinery gas contained much light hydrocarbons, and the utilization of this part of resources were limited.Some refineries couldn't process the hydrocarbons, most of the hydrocarbonsmay were burned. Secondly, straight-run gasoline fraction of Chinese oil refining had low-octane value namely anti-detonatingquality, so that it can notdirectly be applied as finished gasoline into the national production and life.Because of these two reasons, the application of refinery gas to product gasoline additive fraction of high-octane valuewas of great significance.Gasethylbenzene technology to solve the use of refinery gas resources was developed by Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Due to funding problems and market demand, in accordance with the requirements of Shandong Hengyuan Petrochemical Co., Ltd., the proposed refinery dry gas of crude ethylbenzene device, product do gasoline blending component, part as a fine ethylbenzene unit product distillation system feed.This thesis of refinery dry gas of crude ethyl benzene process using Aspen Plus process simulation, and analysis of the dynamic model andmathematic model of reactor and distillation column. The product was refined and coarse ethylbenzene simulation, improve the purity of ethylbenzene, styrene demand. Crude benzene than fine ethylbenzene device in less investment in equipment, simplify the process, energy consumption is slightly low, but the purity of products is not high, it is difficult to and fine ethylbenzene unit product competition, although crude ethylbenzene octane value higher can do gasoline blending component, but only short-term solution is obtained through the analysis and the comparison of crude benzene and refining unit and the essence of ethylbenzene unit in consumption, energy consumption and so on. The need for additional purification of crude benzene ethylbenzene refining tower, but the energy consumption is higher than the refined ethylbenzene unit of high operation cost, long term. Dalian "fifth generation" of refinery dry gas to ethylbenzene on the alkylation catalyst was modified and simplified the process of refining benzene device, because the model has the advantages of high selectivity of the catalyst, refinery dry gas not require removal of propylene refining and transalkylation reactor canceled, its processes and the crude benzene device is very close to, so the "fifth generation" of the alkylation catalyst achieve industrialization, crude benzene device can adopt the new catalyst, thus making the refinery gas of crude benzene process dry from equipment quantity, energy consumption and area are better than directly refined ethylbenzene process.
