Study On Test Device Of Natural Gas Filter

Natural gas transportation pipeline contaminants and impurities will bring harm to the safe operation of pipeline and the instrumentation equipment, the quality of filter performance directly affects the impurity removal efficiency, this paper studies the key problems in the gas filter test system and it can be used for natural gas filter testing, research and development for new gas filter. Natural gas filter performance testing standards have yet to be improved. The dust holding capacity efficiency test is put forward to the performance test of the natural gas filter, and gives the method and process of dust holding capacity efficiency test. This method is more in line with the filtration efficiency of natural gas filter in the actual working conditions.By using Fluent to simulate different air duct, it is found that the particle sedimentation rate of circular air duct is lower than rectangular air duct's under the same conditions. Circular air duct is more suitable as a test duct. Compared with two different types of mixing device, it is found that the taper tube porous diffusion plate is better. By using Fluent to simulate the flow field of the filter element test section, and provide the basis for the design of the test system.Based on the performance parameters of natural gas filter is designed to the test device, for flow, resistance, diameter and other parameters are calculated, and for related measuring equipment is calculated and selected, the device is able to test the performance of the differential flow pressure drop relationship, clean filtration efficiency, steady efficiency, dust holding efficiency and other indicators. Laying the foundation for the future of natural gas test system.Based on PLC compiled a set of control and data acquisition system to reduce manual operation time, control system air flow regulation, collect temperature, humidity, pressure, flow, and other data. Design filter test system software, make the test environment parameters and data visualization, so that the filter performance test facilitation and software has the function of test data storage and test report output, for the future of the test results query and analysis.
