Due to the negative impact of industrial development, environmental pollution has become a hot topic and the gas pollution comes first. With the continuous enhancement of people's environmental awareness and the implementation of environment law, environmental remediation is imperative, which urgently needs real-time, accurate, efficient and stable gas analysis system to monitor the emissions of gases.A set of removable infrared gas analysis system is designed in this paper. It mainly consists of three parts:optical part, circuit part, gas part, which integrates light, machine, electricity and gas together, with infrared light source, temperature sensor, Holzer sensor, limit switch and three different data acquisition modes as well as the combination of forward and backward gas absorption chamber and micro flow sensor. It constitutes a complete set of core detection instrument of gas analysis system, which is mainly used for the detection of the concentration of sulfur oxides and nitrogen oxides, especially regarding SO2 and NO as the typical representatives.First of all, the paper introduces the background and significance of the research and the status at home and abroad. In addition, it gives the design principle of system, typical gas infrared spectrum maps and Lambert-Beer law. Then, the main parts used in the experiment are explained separately and the overall framework of the system is presented, respectively from three aspects: optical aspect, circuit aspect, gas aspect. According to the overall plan, the hardware is divided into six circuit boards and the software is divided into slave computer software, host computer software and PLC. Last but not least, an experimental platform has been built to complete the analysis and verification as well as error assessment. The results reveal that the error is basically maintained within ±2%, which conform to the domestic and international testing standards.
