| Along with the growing freedom in apparel style and Wearing etiquette,hat has gradually become the focus of the fashion.Changeable design of hats was loved deeply by modern women.But in academic study,the pattern design of hat is often ignored.Using the traditional method repeatedly to improve hat pattern appears low efficiency and has great limitations.To solve this problem,this research means to reach several goals:to do quantitative study of the head shape which is based on the millinery market research,using the elements design method and the principle of parametric design to explore the hat pattern.And to realize the auto-generation of the hat pattern to create hat prototype based on garment CAD system,the following research results are gained:First,from an investigation of hat consumer aged from 18 to 35 who lived in shanghai,it is learned that:the characteristics of the investigation object are younger,low-income,fashion,but have a low consumption in hat;Most consumers consider that the function、design、comfort、colors、manufacturing process、fabric and price of hat in current domestic market are not satisfied,so when buying hats,most consumers take much account of the hat itself and the price.Compared with abroad,the development of domestic hat is still in a relatively backward state:low quality,uneven price,no relatively mature hat brand.The research mentioned above provides reference basis for target market confirming and product orientation.It is necessary to do research about hat.Second,through measuring 11 kinds of relevant head sizes for 208 young women aged from 18 to 28 and data analysis,it is found that:The average level of the tested object of head circumference is 55.066.The standard deviation of the head sizes is smaller,which shows that adult female have a stable head size.PCA(Principal Components Analysis)are adopted to extracted four main factors which can reflect the size characteristics of the hat:the length factor,circumference factor,back head form factor and cross-section shape factor.Through correlation analysis of the four factors,draw four head feature indexes:head sharp inclined circumference、horizontal arc length、head level circumference、head breadth.On this basis,establishes the ellipsoid head theory model combining with head features.Third,analyze and classify the hats in existing market;apply the method of standardization elements design to split the hat into three elements:top-crown、side-crown、brim;Work over the change rule of every element.Introducing parametric design principle,extracted two principal parameters for hat series design:the level of head circumference and horizontal arc length.Regression equation was established by means of regression analysis:T-S =3.385+ S.S’×0.252.Fourth,study the Parametric pattern of hat,use Arisa garment CAD to create top-crownside-crown、brim and crown prototypes and to analyze the changes of every elements.According to the styles,through modifying the size table sizes or detail sizes,realized the pattern automatic generation of every elements of hat and established a hat component library.Fifth,call every element of the hat from the hat component library,which has successfully realized pattern automatic generation of several hats.Although the rule of design for every element is limited,the permutation and combination form is infinite,so that causes product relationships,which create countless hat structure patterns.This paper mainly realizes pattern auto-generation of six styles of hats successfully.This research provides the theoretical basis of the hat pattern design,which may realizes the automatic generation of different size or different kinds of hats.This method overcame the traditional method to make hat pattern lacking of scientific basis and guidance,solve the problem of low efficiency and less changeable styles,reduced the cost of design,improved work efficiency,meet the need of customized production,which are of theoretical guiding significance for the design、production、consumption of hats. |
