Technology of gob-side entry roadway has great advantages in underground coal mining. Since the test cycle of this technology is long, demanding higher for the condition of roadway rock, and adding equipments in the roadway, resulting in production process complicated and management more difficultly. If left lane is failing, the loss is bigger. For these reasons, the promotion of technology of gob-side entry roadway is limited. Currently, this techology is mainly used in large-scale coal mines, and in medium and small businesses use lessly. Therefore, to carry out the study on the adaptability of Roadway remain important. In this paper, based on the coal seam conditions of Sichuan Coal Mine, considering the deformation law of surrounding rock, tunneling mode, cross-sectional shape and mine production scale, etc., through field research, literature research, statistical analysis, and establish judgment models, drawing the following result:(1) Firstly, large amount of information about surrounding rock is collected, and establish a database, and then we classify the occurrence of surrounding rock in accordance with Seam Pitch, coal seam thickness, seam depth, the immediate roof lithology, thickness of immediate roof, roof integrity,and then found the law of the seam mining by comparing the data.(2) Secondly, use hierarchical analysis to determine six geological factors for suitability of gob-side roadway, namely coal seam inclination, thickness of coal seam, depth of roadway, the lithology of immediate roof, influence coefficient of immediate roof and integrity of roof, and get the degree of influence of various factors, namely the weight, W ?{0.26, 0.2, 0.06, 0.17, 0.1, 0.21}, and discovering that seam dip and roof integrity influence greater more than 47%, coal seam thickness for second. Therefore, for determining the mode of gob-side roadway, you can pay close attention to seam inclination, coal seam thickness and lithology of immediate roof.(3) Thirdly, use fuzzy set theory to establish an adaptability evaluation model for gob-side entry roadway. According to the basic principles of fuzzy membership functions, we establish five distribution function based on the random interval thought in this paper[1]. Take amended normal distribution function as the membership function, and the index is the mean value of the normal distribution. Considering the relative merits of various synthetic operation method, the weighted average method is selected.(4) Finally, collect successful technology of gob-side entry roadway in domestic(including Sichuan and Sichuan outside) coal mines, and summary suitable technology for different geological conditions. Considering the occurrence and mining conditions of coal seam in Sichuan Coal Group, we determine to use waste rock bags, waste rock natural collapse, brick, concrete, paste as a filling body beside roadway supporting technology and pre-split blast tunneling techniques in roof for side supporting technology of gob-side entry roadway. According to the fuzzy relation composite operation, we obtain the levels of adaptability of gob-side entry roadway and its supporting programs under different geological conditions.
