Compared with roadside packing,gob-side entry retaining without roadway side packingcan effectively reduce the material consumption and cost, simplify entry process and reducethe labor intensity of workers. It’s is a development direction of gob-side entry retaining.Obtained the deformation characteristics and stress distribution of surrounding rock ingob-side entry retaining without roadway side packing by studying the structurecharacteristics of surrounding rock and the form of roof breaking and caving. Through thestudy on the application status of gob-side entry retaining without roadway side packing,explore the applicability of gob-side entry retaining without roadway side packing to differentgeologic conditions. Analyzed the effect of roadside support and entry-in support on gob-sideentry retaining without roadway side packing, established suitable mechanics model forgob-side entry retaining without roadway side packing, Derive calculation formula of entry-inbolting support parameters and roadside support resistance with the mechanical theory.In this paper, taking engineering of gob-side entry retaining without roadway sidepacking in Ai Wei Err Gou17322working face Transport gateway as background. On thebasis of theoretical analysis,calculated the supporting parameters of entry-in and roadside,and analyzed it by MIDAS/GTS numerical simulation software, put forward reasonableroadway support parameters. According to the specific conditions of17322working face,analyzed the technology of gob-side entry retaining without roadway side packing, researchon the whole theory of gob-side entry retaining without roadway side packing to guide thecoal mining production.
