The machine guides are mainly divided into sliding guide, rolling guide and static pressure guide. Sliding guide is applied widely for its good rigidity, strong vibration performance and for its low manufacturing cost. But there will still be a sliding guide rail wear and damage after a long time of use. This will affect the precision of the machine tool if not timely repair of the injury sliding guide. For most of the sliding guide is connected with the machine body makes large replacement project and difficult construction. So the research on the damaged sliding guide has important significance.Through analyzing and comparing the existing methods of the sliding guide repairing, the article carries on the research of pasting the guide soft belt to the bottom of the moving guide in order to repair the surface of it.. That is film pasting repair technology. Through the analysis of the friction interface of the sliding guide, the article discusses to make guide soft belt by choosing PTFE. Through the study on the characteristics of PTFE, the article analyzed the feasibility of using soft belt instead of metal. At the same time, the paper studies on the adhesion principle of the surface of two objects and the suitable adhesive of the soft belt. Through the study on interactive physical, chemical principles and the binding mechanism of the guide soft belt, adhesive and the metal surface of the machine tool, the article proves the feasibility of the film pasting repair technology. Through the analysis and calculation of the whole guide adhesive system, the article demonstrate the strength of the guide film.The article takes a production line which needs guide repair as an example. It designs the overall scheme of the guide repair according to the actual situation. It designs the guide crude processing scheme according to the guide size and film thickness. At the same time, the steps and the process of the specific film guide repair is going on. According to the process design, find the corresponding auxiliary tool to facilitate the repair work. Finally, detect the rail position precision and do necessary adjustment according to it.
