The measurement accuracy of CNC gear measuring center is influenced by many factors in measurement. To study the influence of sampling strategy on involute tooth profile measurement uncertainty, the mathematical model of rectangular coordinate method is established. By using generating method, tilt generating method, polar generating method and rectangular coordinate method, the quantitative and qualitative analysis of error sensitive projects influence on the involute tooth profile measurement are carried out. The main research results are as follows:1. According to the comparative analysis of the existing rectangular coordinate measuring methods and the study of the CNC gear measuring center working principle, the mathematical model of rectangular coordinate measuring method is established. The rectangular coordinate measuring software is developed by Visual C++6.0.2. The error sensitive projects of influencing the measurement precision are confirmed by analyzing the measurement principle and measurement accuracy of measuring methods, which contain generating method, tilt generating method, polar generating method and rectangular coordinate method. There are a number of sensitive projects, such as instrument indication error, geometric error, measuring coordinate system error, workpiece installation error and probe error. According to the characteristics of four measurement methods, the error sensitive projects are analyzed quantitatively and the evaluating models of measurement uncertainty are established.3. On the CNC gear measuring center, the actual measurement uncertainties of four measurement methods are obtained by using generating method, tilt generating method, polar generating method and rectangular coordinate method. At the same time, the theoretic measurement uncertainties are calculated by the involute master parameters. The results show that the experimental data are consistent with the theoretical data and the correctness of the evaluating models is verified.
