The continuous improvement of living standard makes people pay more attention to the concept of healthy life, so clothing health issues have been more attention. Women's requirements for shapewear demand that shapewear have good body-shape effect as well as good wear comfort. Most of the current shapewear on the market are lack of scientific research, so that they can't meet consumer demands in the clothing comfort and shaping effects. How to ensure shaping effects and comfortable healthy wear of shapewear, shapewear industry is currently the focus of the study.In this paper, by studying the style and structure of shapewear as well as fabric characteristics, 8 kinds of fabrics used in the market were bought, also basic performance and tensile properties of fabrics were tested. On the basis of the fabric research, a style of shapewear that can tighten the abdomen and hip was designed. We made 16 pieces of experiment shapewears by choosing two fabrics as lining, the left as outer fabrics. In this study, we used the subjective evaluation method of clothing pressure comfort to describe the pressure exerted on the body by the psychological scale. Then, 16 volunteers were recruited and did experiments of evaluating the subjective comfort and shaping effect of 16 kind of shapewears to study the influence of shapewear based on different fabrics. We found that the overall shaping effect was proportional to the total pressure.
