HS-WEDM is a special processing technology developed by our country independently,which has the extremely important position in the manufacturing field of our country and has been widely application in the mold manufacturing and precision parts processing.However,due to the vibration of wire electrode in the process of processing,it has restricted further improvement of the processing speed and surface roughness of the machine.Therefore,the wire electrode vibration control device as the times require.This paper introduced research status and related theory of HS-WEDM firstly,which laid the foundation for next research.Moreover,a wire electrode vibration control device was introduced,which included vibration testing and tension parts.This device could according to the active processing conditions to automatically adjust the tightness of wire electrode,which reduced the influence for human factors.Equipped with such device in Beijing NH series high speed wire-cut electrical discharge machining NH7740 B was used in processing experiments.Through the comparison of experimental data,it showed that the device can improve processing speed and reduce the surface roughness of the workpiece.But for HS-WEDM with wire electrode vibration control device,the original processing parameters were not suitable for new machine.In order to better use and popularize the more excellent performance of high speed wire machine,we need to find the match process parameters,and use them to guide the practical production.In order to find the match process parameters,we need to model and simulate,so BP neural network was used.Because BP neural network is the core of the artificial neural network and the most important part,that has the very strong learn and adaptive capacity.It not only can deal with the nonlinear relationship between data,but also can point out the potential of relationship.In addition,it can also have the very strong fault tolerance.Machining process model and machining parameters optimization model were established,and this paper used BP neural network to forecast the machining process and machining parameters optimization.By optimizing the machining parameters of processing experiment,processing speed and surface roughness are greatly improved.it is conducive to the spread and development for wire electrode vibration device and the accuracy of the model was proved.
