The technology development progress in synthetic ammonia process and ammonia refrigeration at domestic and overseas were firstly introduced in the thesis,Examples are introduced makes the instance introduction of all of kinds of compressor during the domestic synthetic ammonia products progress,and concluding the synthetic ammonia Industrial application situations;By comparing a variety of industrial application of refrigeration's compressor,their advantages and disadvantages were highlighted,and the characteristics of centrifugal ammonia refrigerant compressor and the factors that influence efficiency of refrigeration were analysed.Secondly,the basic situation before and after modification and the necessity for modification were introduced,and moreover the necessity of nitrogen application of centrifugal ammonia refrigeration compressor through the analysis on the new energy-saving equipment of various external factors were explained.The production LG31.5 ?-type A Screw type ammonia refrigeration compressor from Wu Han New World Refrigeration Industry Co.,LTD.,and the production KLDASN-C type centrifugal ammonia refrigeration compressor from Chong Qing General Co.,LTD were mainly introduced,which included all kinds of performance parameters,application principle,technological process and the application of nitrogen ammonia refrigeration technology in San Ning Nitrogenous Fertilizer Plant.In view of the two types of compressors,it made the calculation and comparison from the aspects of energy consumption and cooling capacity providing,analyzing from the aspects of sealing device and the technology level of circulating cooling water,carrying on the practice from the actual operation,the equipment start-up and stop,operation difficulty level and exception handling aspects,and the advantages of application of centrifugal ammonia refrigeration compressor were comprehensively analysised.During the application of centrifugal ammonia refrigeration compressor,three defects existed in design-installation progress,operation and transformation progress,but after optimized treatment,it has been significantly improved.Based upon the analysis of these problems,the optimization scheme proposal based on defects of the current application of the centrifugal ammonia refrigerant compressor were made,which included optimization of operation and management,fault processing optimization and optimization of the technological process and getting theoptimization effect by actual operations.Thirdly,After practice prove,through steady steam source stable steam turbine unit,through the control unit speed and surge valve opening to reduce vibration,through stable nitrogen source to ensure the stable operation of dry gas seal,through the spare screw compressor stable process method,it is very important for stable operation of the ammonia refrigeration system and even the whole long cycle stable operation of the synthetic ammonia system.Finally aimed at the synthetic ammonia system high demand for ammonia refrigeration stable operation,it proposed method to apply the centrifugal compressor on normal time,and to apply the screw compressor under the abnormal situation.Through the several means of control unit running,obvious effects and results had achieved,which met the requirements of production,and the benefit of the whole set of device were also improved,which contributed a lot to lower the cost per ton of ammonia,and met the company's security environmental protection concept.At the same time,experience of large steam turbine drive equipment through applying the centrifugal was accumulated.
