Fluorescent whitening agent is a fluorescent dye,which can make the processing materials emit blue fluorescence in the sunlight,and thus the material itself due to yellow and yellow light reflected into complementary white light in the visual effect to whitening.But the common fluorescent whitening agent for non reactive and light itself is not ideal,to a certain extent,slowed the pace of development of China's fluorescent whitening agent.In view of this situation,two kinds of fluorescent brighteners RF-1 and RF-2 were designed and synthesized.RF-1 is 4,4'-Diamino-2,2'-Stilbenedisulfonic Acid(DSD Acid)as precursor,using cyanuric chloride as crosslinking monomer,the introduction of p-Aminobenzene Sulfonic Acid in the molecule,the increase of molecular conjugate structure while significantly improving the water soluble fluorescent whitening agent.RF-2 also with DSD acid as precursor,with four methyl piperidine amine light stability into molecular structure,formed by two step condensation reaction with cyanuric chloride.In this paper,two kinds of fluorescent whitening agents were characterized by infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),mass spectrometry(MS)and NMR(1H NMR).At the same time by UV Vis spectroscopy(UV-vis)and fluorescence spectra(FS)analysis of optical properties of RF-1and RF-2,found that two kinds of fluorescent whitening agents were 336 nm and 332 nm has the maximum absorption peak,and UV absorption spectra showed that the conjugate Saddleback type,with good architecture.The fluorescence emission spectra showed that two kinds of fluorescent whitening agents emit blue fluorescence in the range of 420~450 nm,which shows that it is feasible to whiten the Yellow fabric.Using the orthogonal experiment with four factors and three levels to optimize the application process of RF-1 and RF-2 on cotton fabric,and the whiteness as the evaluation index to further optimize the fluorescent whitening agent,ultimately determine the optimal process of RF-1 is 0.5% OWF,sodium sulfate 60 g/L,pH 10,was 70 degrees Celsius temperature,dyeing time 60 min;optimal process RF-2 is 0.25% OWF,60 g/L sodium sulfate,dyeing temperature 90,pH 9,min 90 staining time.The results showed that RF-1 and RF-2 were reactive to cotton fiber by DMF stripping and washing performance test.The aging test by photodegradation and UV irradiation,containing four methyl amine piperidine found RF-2 in 60 of the photodegradation rate of min was only 15.5%,significantly lower than 31.7% degradation rate of RF-1 under the same conditions,prove that the introduction of hindered amine light stable fragments to improve the light stability of fluorescent whitening agent in molecule.
