The silk fibers consistof mainly two components,fibroin and sericin,sericin wrapped outside of the fibrion to have a protect.Due to silk fiber have performance such as fine,elegant,smooth,soft and dyeability and so on,made the raw silk products after lately weaving processing have fine characteristics of natural drape,look gorgeous and bright color,so silk fabric is people's favorite.But due to the existence of a large amount of sericin,made the silk fiber lack of smoothness and softness,in order to get a certain degree of preshrinking strips,improve its knitted,steeping process should be carried out on silk fibers.According to the different requirements of raw silk,steeping process divides into warp and weft steeping,warp steeping mainly makes the silk appropriate smooth,wear-resisting;weft steeping mainly makes the weft wire soft parallel.Based on the cohesion of fresh cocoon silk significantly decreased,showing the problem of poor cohesion,this paper explore the methods to improve the cohesion of fresh cocoon silk,providing technical reference for the expansion of fresh cocoon applications.This paper aids HC,EKL-200 were ultilized to have warp and weft steeping for fresh cocoon respectively.In order to save the number of tests and optimization of process parameters,according to the orthogonal design principle?without considering the interaction situation?,select aid concentration,steeping time and steeping temperature as experimental factors,choose orthogonal design table L16?43?to have a header design,then have an analysis of range and variance to the data of physical properties such as breaking strength,breaking elongation,hooking strength,hooking elongation,initial modulus,lubricity and cohesion with data analysis software.Data analysis results showed that:?1?Warp steeping: can be seen from the analysis of variance results,steeping time and temperature are the main factors,steeping aids concentration for the secondary influence factor.Optimization of process parameters: 4.0 kg/piece for steeping aids concentration,35 min for steeping time and 42? for steeping temperature.?2?Weft steeping: as can be seen from the analysis of variance results,steeping time and temperature are the main factors,steeping aids concentration for the secondary influence factor.Optimization of process parameters: 3.0kg/piece for steeping aids concentration,17 h for steeping time and 38? for steepingtemperature.In order to further verify the feasibility of experimental results,the optimized process parameters are ultilized to have a warp and weft steeping of the fresh cocoon silk,respectively,and have a test and comparative analysis of its structure and performance.The experimental results show that the fresh cocoon silk after steeping with the above selecting process parameters can improve the performance of cohesion at a certain extent.
