This paper mainly analyzes and evaluates the influence of the expansion project construction on the groundwater environment, and through investigation and analysis of the meteorological, geological conditions and hydrogeological conditions of the project area, the groundwater recharge, runoff and excretion characteristics of the construction project and diving water Chemical characteristics,17 water quality monitoring points and 113 water level monitoring points were set up, and indoor experiments, field experiments and water chemistry analysis tests were carried out. The present situation of groundwater environment was analyzed and evaluated. Based on this, the mathematic model was established according to the characteristics of the aquifer pollution, the discharge of sewage, the sensitivity of groundwater environment, and the anti-fouling properties of the unsaturated zone. The solute transport laws of the groundwater in the site area and ash area were simulated respectively, It is concluded that the desulfurization wastewater pollutants and petroleum pollutants can enter the aquifer in a short time, which has certain influence on the groundwater environment.The groundwater flow and water quality model was established by using Visual MODFLOW software. The effect of fluoride ion on the groundwater environment was predicted. Under the accident condition, the fluoride ion contaminant gradually diffused and migrated to the maximum concentration continuously into the aquifer. Groundwater pollution extent and scope gradually expanded, the site area of pollutant level of the maximum distance of 150.18 meter, the site of the recent protection of the target distance of 681.12 meter, will not affect the downstream protection targets, only the site of the groundwater pollutants have an impact. Ash field leakage, the pollution level of the longest distance of 385.9 meter, the nearest protection target of 364.1 meter. Will not affect the downstream protection objectives. From the perspective of protecting the groundwater environment, it is concluded that the project construction is feasible.
