Polymer optical materials have been widely applied in the realms of optical industry and optical research,because of their excellent performances in optical property,for example transparent,light weight,easy processing.The optical resin is an optical material having excellent optical properties,made of an optical film for optical lenses and different monitors.Refractive index and dispersion are the basic properties of optical materials.In order to make the lens thin,reducing the curvature and improve the quality and performance of the optical device to make the liquid crystal display bright,the optical refractive must be improved index of the film material.Now the most of the optical resin less 1.60 on the market,only the polycarbonate(PC),dially glycol carbonate(CR-39)and poly(methyl methacrylate)(PMMA)wait for a few kinds,such as higher than that of more than 1.6 optical material is little.They can not meet the needs of modern optics character such as lightweight,miniaturization requirement,which limits the development of optical resin.This paper design and synthesize three series 13 compounds,which were based on fluorine ring,a naphthalene ring and five-membered aromatic heterocyclic group for the center,ethoxy as flexible chain,acrylate as end group.The structures of these compounds were confirmed by IR,1HNMR,13 CNMR and MS,measured the abbe number and refractive index by Abbe refractometer.The result suggested that all of the compounds had right chemical structure.In addition,the refractive index of monomer compounds were more than 1.61,the highest reached 1.67,which were provided good monomers to make the optical resin.In order to synthesize high refractive index and low dispersion resin monomer,the target compound was introduced in molar refractive larger sulfur atom and aromatic ring group.In this paper,the sulfur atom was introduced by epoxy,sulfide and thiadiazole so that the existing way of sulfur atom had the effect on polymer optical performance index.
