This work is financially supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China(NO.51174139).The microstructure and property of dynamic aging process 6201 aluminum alloy conductor were studied by means of S-4800 scanning electron microscope(SEM)?Philips DM420 transmission electron microscope(TEM)?SANS CMT5105 electronic universal material testing machine and QJ48 double arm DC bridge.The main results were described as follows:(1)Influence of dynamic ECAE process on the microstructure and property of6201 alloy were studied,the result show that the dynamic ECAE process has the advantages of large share deformation,efficient grain refinement,the grain average size of 6201 alloy wire at about 10 ?m or even smaller can be prepared by the four passes ECAE forming,what'more,the grain is much more refined.(2)The influence of artificial aging on the property and precipitate morphology were studied,the result show that spherical enhanced phase Mg2 Si can be obtained by160 ??7 h artificial aging,while,the formation of Mg2 Si needle phase are inhibited.Hence,the deformation compatibility between the aluminum matrix alloy and strengthening phase are enhanced,providing an organizational guarantee for the preparation of high performance conductive materials.After conductor soaked at 160~170 ? for 7 h,the tensile strength ? elongation and equivalent conductivity of the Al-0.6%Mg-0.6%Si alloy conductor are about 305.64 ~ 309.56 MPa,6.5% ~ 7.1%,56.18%~56.35 %IACS respectively.Hence the electric conductivity properties of this alloy conductor are greatly improved compared to traditional Al-Mg-Si alloy conductor with the tensile strength 295 MPa and equivalent conductivity 52.5 %IACS.(3)Influence of element Zr on the microstructure and property of 6201 alloy that prepared by dynamic continuous rolling were studied,the result show that the tensile strength and the heat resistance of the 6201 alloy improved by the added of element Zr,however,the conductivity decreased,meanwhile,the grain size are more refine.(4)The 6201 alloy conductor were prepared by dynamic continuous rolling,the result show that the tensile strength increases with the increase of Mg ? Si content,however,the elongation and the equivalent conductivity decrease(for example after conductor soaked at 160~170 ? for 7 h,the tensile strength?elongation and equivalent conductivity of the Al-0.6%Mg-0.6%Si alloy are about 286.49 MPa ? 6.6% and54.87%IACS respectively,while,the Al-0.7%Mg-0.7%Si alloy are about 295.47MPa?5.62% and 54.44%IACSI respectively),to provide theoretical and experimental basis for the production process of 6201 aluminium alloy wire,it has a certain guiding sense to the actual production.
