| In CAM systems research, the post-processing technology is one of the key technologies. It is the link of CAD/CAM systems and processing equipment and affects the quality of products and the efficiency of manufacture. Research for universal Post Processing System of Turbine blades and other complex surface machining is important. Based on the theory and actual production needs, we have developed this universal Post Processing System for Turbine blades machining. The system solves the following questions:1. The post-processor is compatible with varieties of pre-processing softwares including general and specific softwares. This paper studies how to transform the G-codes generated by special softwares and the APT format codes generated by universal pre-processing softwares to G-codes which can be identified by different machines.2. The post-processing method provided to solve the contradiction between RTCP programming model and shop worker’s debugger traditions in this article, moreover, it avoids the inefficiencies of debugging since the tool length calculation in G-codes.3. This paper presents a post-processing method for five-axis NC machine. We quote the geometric deviation compensation parameters of the machine in G-codes. We can copy the G-codes between similar systems and similar machines easily. Each transplantation we need not to re-post. Production has proved the compatibility and reliability of the system. |
