Research On Post Processing Of Five Axis Machining Center Based On Powermill

Five axis NC machining center is one of the important equipmentsof solving the parts of precision die,precision instrument and equipment,aviation and spacecraft parts.Compared with the ordinary three axis NC machining,the five axis NC programming is more complex and difficult,which usually needs to be accomplished by automatic programming software.The tool path that is programmed by the automatic programming software must be processed and changed to the NC code which can be identified by the NC machine tool before processing the parts.But as to most of the automatic programming softwares,the post processing programequipped with can not meet the needs of different machines.Therefore,according to the five axis CNC machining center structure and system,the development of special post processing program has become an important link in NC machining.This paper is focus on the research on post processing about DMU50 five axis CNC machining center(with Siemens840D CNC system)produced by DMG's.Based on that,the special post-processing documents are formulated.Besides,the use of VERICUT virtual simulation software for post processing files is verified.The specific research contents are as follows:Firstly,the structural features of the common five axis NC machining center are expounded.The structure of the machine tool and the parameters of the machine tool in the DMU50 five axis NC machining center are also introduced in detail.Secondly,the relevant technology of five axis NC machining center coordinate transform,motion and solving nonlinear motion error checking post-processing is studied in the paper,according to the DMU50 five axis CNC machining center,kinematics by idealized by the axis coordinate transformation formula.Thirdly,the process and setting method of PM-post post processing module is studied.According to the relevant parameters of DMU50 five axis CNC machining center,the development of special post processing file of five axis machining centerwhich is equipped with Siemens840D system is also completed.Fourthly,the machining program of blade parts is compiled based on Powermill,and the post processing file is developed to generate the corresponding NC code.In addtion,the simulation processing of the blade is completed by Vericut virtual simulation software,and the correctness of the post processing file of DMU50 NC machining center is verified.The special post processing file studied in this paper can be directly used in CNC system fitted with Siemens840D DMU50 five axis CNC machining center.What's more,it has a certain reference value for the development of Powermill five axis CNC machining center post processing.
