Silica?SiO2?, as the mainly chemical compound of silicon, was widely applied to chemical engineering, medicine, catalyze and electrochemistry and so on. In view of silica possessing excellent features such as high surface area and chemical stability, it is of great significance to determinate alkylphenols with silica composites modified electrode in electrochemistry.Introduction:A review about the properties and development of silica was presented. The synthetic methods of silica as well as its applications in every field were introduced. The preparation, characterization and application of chemically modified carbon based electrode were detailedly introduced. We investigated the nanomaterials modified electrode and its application. Finally, we summarized the significance and main contents of this thesis.Chapter 1:Mono-disperse spherical silica was synthesized using water glass as silica source based on chemical coprecipitation method. The experimental conditions were optimized and the properties of product were characterized. Under the same conditions, the thesis mainly investigated the effects of calcination temperature on thermal stability, the BET surface area and pore size distribution of as-synthesized silica microspheres.Chapter 2:Spherical silica was synthesized and Fe2+/Fe3+-SiO2-CPE was fabricated by combination method for BPA determination. The electrochemical oxidation process of BPA was studied and the experimental conditions influencing BPA determination were also optimized. Some kinetic parameters were calculated and BPA in the plastic sample was detected accurately.Chapter 3:White carbon black was synthesized. An electrochemical method was fabricated based on Ag-loading white carbon black composites modified carbon paste electrode ?Ag-SiO2/CPE? and firstly applied to the detection of TBBPA. Electrocatalytic activity of the modified electrode and factors influencing the determination of TBBPA were investigated. Under optimized conditions, the linear sweep voltammetry ?LSV? was established to detect the content of TBBPA in electronic products.Chapter 4:In this work, spherical silica was synthesized. Cyclic voltammetry?CV?, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy ?EIS?, chronocoulometry ?CC?, bulk electrolysis with coulometry, linear sweep voltammetry ?LSV? and differential pulse voltammetry ?DPV? were used to studied the electrochemical behavior of BPA on SiO2/Au/GCE and kinetic parameters. The proposed method was successfully applied to monitoring BPA in disposable glove.
