Sangzhi County, Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province is a new development zone of tobacco cultivation. In order to improve the usability of upper leaves and the development and production of characteristically high-quality tobacco, writer are in the city of Zhangjiajie in Hunan Sangzhi County Hekou Township regarding local dominating cultivars K326 as test materials to study one-time harvesting and curing technology of upper leaves and to study the effect of different upper leaves maturity for leaves one-time harvesting and different ways of harvesting and curing on quality of upper leaves. The results show that:1、The result of four treatments in six upper tobacco leaves in different maturity when harvesting shows that M3 is superior to that of M1 and M2 and M4. When tobacco transplanting 125 days or so, the maturity of top one to three leaves delivers some characteristics that leaves color are yellow-based, and that the degree of main vein color is over two-thirds white and sub-vein color is about 1/2 white and that leaf angle is close to the right and the blade bent bow with leaf wrinkled and that there are much mature yellow spots. At this time the qualities of the upper six leaves using one-time harvest are best to its leaf appearance, physical properties and chemical coordination. Moderate extending upper leaves field harvesting time and improving the maturity of tobacco leaves can help to ameliorate the coordination of appearance quality, physical properties and chemical components in upper leaves, which can improve K326 upper leaves’quality and usability.2、The result of four treatments in six upper tobacco leaves in different harvesting methods and curing technologies shows that the treatment of T4 is better than the rest, which indicates that using wet temperature curing technology after taking one-time harvesting can acquire first rate quality in upper tobacco leaves. The one-time harvesting and curing method can significantly reduce the single leaf weight and density and improve the porosity and coordination of chemical components of upper leaves, which enhance the quality of upper leaves of industrial usability. And the use of wet temperature curing technology after taking one-time harvesting can effectively improve leaf structure, which ameliorate industrial usability of upper 1-3 leaves and enhance the ratio of sugar to nicotine and the ratio of potassium to chlorine. Meanwhile, the proportion of mottle leaves is decreased and the proportion of fine tobacco leaves is increased, which significantly increase the average price. Good tobacco leaves rates increased by 14.45% and the average price per kilogram of tobacco increased by 6.33 yuan, which improve the farmer’s income and economic benefits effectively.
