City bus is one of the important public transport vehicles,which has the characteristics of large capacity and low per capita emissions.Giving priority to the development of urban public transport is an important measure to ease the pressure of urban traffic,reduce environmental pollution and promote the healthy development of the city.This paper first introduces the domestic and foreign research status of urban buses,and then focuses on the development of public transport in Nanning,as well as the status of the use of diesel buses.A large number of diesel bus emissions testing data were collected at the vehicle testing station in order to understand the PM emissions of diesel buses in Nanning City.The present situation and existing problems of PM emission of diesel buses in Nanning city were analyzed by the test data.The causes of the failure of PM emission of diesel buses in Nanning city was discussed based on the analysis of the diesel engine PM formation mechanism and its influencing factors.The effect of oil quality on PM emission is discussed in this paper.A large number of domestic and foreign diesel vehicles PM processing technology is reviewed In order to solve the problem of excessive emission of diesel bus PM.The characteristics of the related technologies and the requirements of the operating conditions are analyzed in detail.Some improvements on the emission standard diesel vehicles from a company in Nanning city are put forward.Such as the installation of the old vehicle DPF system,while controlling the quality of diesel and other related measures to reduce the emission of diesel buses PM.Finally,in order to test the feasibility of the program,select the part of the vehicle,the actual effect of the selected technical program by the actual loading experiment.The experiment has achieved good results,which proves the feasibility of the scheme.
