| Metal nanoparticles are widely used in optics,electrical,magnetic,catalytic and antibacterial and other fields because of their unique properties.Preparation of metal nanoparticles on polymer fiber materials can produce various composite functional fiber materials with excellent properties,and realizing the high performance and functionalization of polymer fiber materials.In this paper,silver nanoparticles were prepared on the surface of cotton fiber fabric modified with SPEEK/PVA by UV-induced method,and functional cotton fabric with nanosized silver particles was fabricated,which had a good antibacterial and conductive properties,greatly enhance the added value of cotton fabric.The paper is divided into three parts:(1)Preparation of SPEEK/PVA-AgNPs composites.SPEEK/PVA composite polymer membranes were prepared by blending with SPEEK as the photosensitizing free radical carrier,polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)as the dispersion stabilizer.Then,the SPEEK/PVA-AgNPs composites were prepared via the generation of silver nanoparticles(AgNPs)in the SPEEK/PVA film by UV-induced reduction of Ag+.The composites were characterized by using Ultraviolet-visible Spectrophotometer(UV-Vis),Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM),Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy(EDS),X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy(XPS)and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectoscopy(FT-IR).The results showed that the photo-generated Ag particles were nanoscale and they distributed uniformly on the surface of SPEEK/PVA film.The SPEEK/PVA-AgNPs composite film showed brown color.Ag nanoparticles had formed a complete crystal phase and they were elementary substances.(2)Preparation of SPEEK/PVA-AgNPs Cotton Fabrics.SPEEK/PVA modified cotton fabric was prepared by the method of impregnation and baking.The silver nanoparticles were controlled by UV-induced method on the surface,and SPEEK/PVA-AgNPs cotton fabric was obtained.The fabric were characterized by UV-Vis,SEM,TG,EDS,XPS and FT-IR.The results showed that silver nanoparticles were uniformly formed on SPEEK/PVA modified cotton fabric,the particle size was nanometer.The formed nanoparticles had a more complete crystal form,and valence analysis showed that they were elementary substances.The cotton fabric was dark reddish brown,and the silver nanoparticles were controlled on the fabrics bychanging the time of external illumination,the concentration of AgClO4·H2O solution and the pH value of SPEEK/PVA modified cotton fabric.(3)Study on Application Properties of SPEEK/PVA-AgNPs Cotton Fabrics.The wear properties of modified cotton fabrics were determined by the indexes of wrinkle recovery,tensile properties and fabric style.And the antimicrobial and conductive properties were analyzed.The results showed that: the formation of silver nanoparticles had no significant effect on the performance of cotton fabric and improved the hydrophobicity of the fabric.The inhibition rates of gram-negative e.coli and gram-positive s.aureus were 99.98% and 90.26%respectively.The electrical resistivity of SPEEK/PVA-AgNPs fabric fabricated by 0.05mol·L-1AgClO4·H2O solution was 1.321·107Ω·cm,which reached the requirement of conductive fabric. |
