In this paper,two p-xylene-alkyl sulfonates were synthesized according to the expected scheme.The synthesis of aryl ketone intermediates was followed by a format reaction to yield p-xylene-alkyl aromatics having a carbon chain length of 12 and 16.And the aromatic ring is close to the center of the carbon chain,The synthesis process through the column chromatography,recrystallization and other methods to be purified.The structure of the finally synthesized p-xylene-alkyl aromatics was determined by the method of nuclear magnetic characterization and the purity analysis,Finally,two kinds of alkyl p-xylene sulfonates were obtained by sulfonation,neutralization and purification.The two sulfonates were synthesized and formulated into different concentrations of a single solution,maintain Na Cl concentration 10000 mg /L,Surface tension was measured by maximum bubble pressure method,the JJ2000 C was used to rotate the droplet interface at 45?,6000 rpm /min,dodecane was used to determine the interfacial tension of the oil phase.The results show that the surface performance of alkyl p-xylene sulfonate with carbon number of 12 is better than that of alkyl p-xylene sulfonate with carbon number of 16,but the interfacial performance is just the opposite?The two sulfonates with different interfacial properties were prepared,the concentration of the two salts in the complex system is the same as that of the single sulfonate concentration,the purpose is to compare the difference between the interfacial tension and the single solution after the complex system,equipped with different proportions of the complex system.After 12 carbon sulfonate was introduced into the system of 16 carbon number,the surface properties were enhanced.16 carbon sulfonate was introduced into the 12 carbon number system,and the interfacial properties were enhanced.The surface tension and interfacial tension were measured,and the gamma-lgc curves of different proportion systems were obtained,and collated a large number of data through the Rosen et al.'s non-ideal binary mechanism of the synergistic formula to verify.The surface properties of the composite system showed that the ratio of 16 carbon and 12 carbon sulfonate was 1:1,showing double resistance,and synergistic effects were produced at 4:1 and 5:1.The 16 carbon number and 12 carbon number ratio of 1:1,1:4,sulfonate,1:5 and 3:22 have synergistic effect on the interface properties of the complex system,and greatly reduce the critical micelle concentration,showed very good interface properties.Through the synergistic effect of complex system,can show better interface performance than a single system,the complex system of anionic surfactants can also be ideal for interface performance.At the same time,this paper also explains the rules and conclusions of the experiment.
