As a kind of metal pigment with unique properties,aluminum pigment is often used in the automotive industry and plastics processing.However,in recent years,with the national and local government environmental protection policies and people gradually enhance the consciousness of environmental protection,oil-based aluminum pigments which were used in previous industrial can no longer satisfy the needs of industrial production,many scholars and companies began to focus on research and preparation of water-based aluminum pigment.In addition,compared with the organic pigment,the color of the metal pigment leads to its narrow application,and the color of the aluminum pigment is an important direction of the present research.In this paper,the double coating modification of aluminum pigment powder was carried out on the basis of waterborne and the ability of coloring,and the light aging properties of aluminum pigment in polypropylene?PP?was studied.The main contents are the three lists in the following:?1?In this study,Al/SiO2 composite pigment were prepared through co-hydrolysis andcondensation reactions of silane coupling agent?YSiR3?and tetraethyl orthosilicate?TEOS?and then the effect of different silane coupling agent on the surface modification of aluminum pigment were studied.In the experiment,aluminum pigments were modified by APTES,VTES and DBES,and modified aluminum pigments were characterized by SEM,FTIR,laser particle size analysis?LPSA?,etc.As the result shown,comparing to the aluminum pigments modified byco-hydrolysis and condensation of short-chain silane coupling agents and TEOS,that of long-chain silane coupling agents,such as DBES,can form a layer of dense SiO2 film on the surface of aluminum pigments and effectively improve the corrosion resistance of aluminum pigments.Meanwhile,on the basis of DBES and TEOS co-modified aluminum pigments,the specific parameters of the reaction conditions were optimized by orthogonal experiment.The results showed that under the condition of TEOS:DBES=3:1,6g ammonia water and 8g deionized water,the Al/SiO2 composite pigment with the best corrosion resistance could be obtained by reaction at 50? for 6h.?2?On the basis of the preparation of Al/SiO2 composite pigment,the color modification of pigment was carried out and prepared the organic pigment phthalocyanine blue?CuPc?coated blue aluminum pigment.In the experiment,firstly,CuPc-SO3H organic pigment was prepared by sulfonation reaction of concentrated sulfuric acid and phthalocyanine blue.Then the Al/SiO2 composite particles were colored by liquid phase deposition method,Ba?CuPc-SO3?2 precipitate was deposited on the surface of Al/SiO2 composite particles by the reaction of CuPc-SO3H with BaCl2 as precipitation agent,so as to achieve the purpose of coloring.The effects of the amount of CuPc-SO3H pigment,the addition of precipitation agent,the type of surfactant and the reaction time on the color of the aluminum pigment were studied,and the conclusion was got by SEM,FTIR,XRD:the highest gloss blue aluminum pigment was prepared on the condition of Al/SiO2:CuPc-SO3H=10:1,the addition of 5%BaCl2,and the sodium dodecyl sulfate?SDS?as surface active agent with the addition of 5%,reaction 90min.?3?In order to study the compatibility of the composite pigment and resin and its light aging property,the pigment Al/SiO2/Ba?CuPc-SO3?2 prepared in this experiment and light ageing agent UV-622,antioxidant 1010 was added into polypropylene?PP?,and then free spray blue PP plastic was obtained through twin screw extruder,hot pressing molding,injection molding.The U-V light was used to study the anti ageing effect of light stabilizer UV-622 and antioxidant 1010 on PP colored plastics,and the tensile properties and optical properties were tested.Compared to the Al/PP composite before light aging,after accelerating aging in UV lamp for 336h,the tensile strength decreased 1.7MPa,the elongation decreased 5.8%,the total color difference on the optical properties ?E was 1.31,when the content of colored aluminum pigment was 0.6wt%,the content of light stabilizer UV622 was 0.8wt%,and the content of antioxidant 1010 was about 2.0wt%.
