Recently,high-performance resin materials have become the focus on the researchers.As a kind of high-performance resin,the arylalkynyl silane resin has a special superiority due to heat resistance,wave permeability,corrosion resistance and other properties.In this paper,the chemical rheology,curing process,curing kinetics,dielectric properties,heat resistance and thermal decomposition kinetics were studied by two different functional groups arylalkynyl silane resin.To provide theoretical for application of molding process.The major works and conclusions are listed as follow:1)Tri(phenylethynyl)-octyl-silane monomer(TPEOS)and Tri(phenylethynyl)-cetyl-silane monomer(TPECS)were synthesized with octyltrichloro-silane and hexadecyl trichlorosilane by Grignard reaction.The molecular structure was characterized by FT-IR and NMR(1H-NMR,13C-NMR,29Si-NMR)spectroscopy.The product is the target compound.2)The rheological properties of TPEOS and TPECS resin monomers were measured by rheometer.The results show that two resin monomers have a wide processing window temperature,and the window temperature is above 300 ?.Through the relationship between viscosity and time,the chemical rheological viscosity model is established.The simulation results are agreement with the experiment results.Through the Arrhenius viscosity model,the resin can be processing with RTM molding process.3)According to the non-isothermal DSC measurement curves of TPEOS and TPECS resin monomer,the curing process of resin monomer was deduced by extrapolation method.The results showed that the initial curing temperature of TPEOS resin monomer was 300? and the final curing temperature was 363 ?.The initial curing temperature of the TPECS resin monomer was 298 ? and the curing temperature was 362?,respectively.The activation energy parameters of the curing reaction were calculated by four different calculation methods:Kissinger,Owaza,Flynn-Wall-Ozawa and Friedman equations.The results showed that the activation energies of TPEOS and TPECS resin were 163.58kJ·mol-1 and 168.37 kJ·mol-1 respectively.Both belong to the autocatalytic reaction mechanism.4)The dielectric constant and the dielectric loss tangent of PTPEOS and PTPECS were measured by vector network analyzer.The results show that the dielectric constant of the two resin monomers is about 2.5 in the frequency range of 2 to 18GHz.Stability,will not change with the frequency;at the same time the loss of tangent points also maintain a low value to meet the requirements of the wave material,is a good wave material.Wave propagation degradation of performance at 800?.5)The heat resistance of PTPEOS and PTPECS were analyzed by thermogravimetric analysis(TG).The results showed that the carbon residue ratio was above 60%at 800 ? under nitrogen atmosphere,and the heat resistance was better.The pyrolysis activation energy of PTPEOS and PTPECS resins were 151.97 kJ· mol-1 and 198.45 kJ mol-1,,respectively.
