Phenolic resin,as one of the earliest synthetic resins,is often used in combination with other materials.The study of its high performance involves the improvement of the properties of the resin itself and the study of its properties when used as composite materials.On this basis,two high-performance phenolic resins,namely ammonia-free reinforcing resin RT2304 and bismaleimide modified tackifying resin,were selected to study the improvement of the properties of the resin itself and its application in the rubber formulation of radial tire.The curing behavior of RT2304 resin was studied by non-isothermal curing.The curing reaction stage was analyzed by N-level model fitting method and non-model fitting method to determine the curing process.The research shows that E of RT2304 resin is 99.1 kJ/mol,A=4.1×1010 s-1,n=0.94;The curing reaction process is divided into three stages:gelation,crosslinking and diffusion.Flynn-Wall-Ozawa and Kissinger-Akahira-Sunose calculated the relationship curves between activation energy and curing degree,and described the curing behavior more accurately.Through the analysis of processing characteristics,physical and mechanical properties and dynamic mechanical properties,the application of RT2304 resin in radial tire apex was discussed.The heat resistance and pyrolysis kinetics of bismaleimide modified tackifying resin and alkyl phenol-acetylene resin were characterized by thermal analysis.Research shows that the bismaleimide group introduced into the bismaleimide modified tackifying resin increases the proportion of cyclic groups and improves the heat resistance.Kinetic trifactor of bismaleimide modified tackifying resin is E=225.4 kJ/mol,A=1.3×1017 s-1,n=0.998.The amount of tackifying resin will affect the tackifying effect.Different kinds and amounts of tackifying resin are added to NR/SBR to study the effect of different storage conditions on the self-adhesion of rubber blends.The results show that the self-adhesion of NR/SBR blend can be obviously improved after adding tackifying resin.Under the condition of thermal and oxygen aging,the self-adhesion decreases,and the bismaleimide modified tackifying resin has excellent thermal and oxygen aging resistance.
