Radiation exists in the natural environment,with the development of science and technology,gamma ray has been widely applied in our daily life.Suzhou ranks the top in Jiangsu province even in the whole country by using nuclear technology both in radioactive sources' quantity and activity.After the Japan Fukushima earthquake on March 11,2011 followed by the radioactive leakage accident,the social public raises its attention to the radiation environmental quality to a very high level,and is eager to learn the radiation level of its own survival environment.The government also attaches great importance to it.To grasp the city radiation sources and radiation environmental quality status,and to analyze the city air environmental radiation level change rule,this study use of Suzhou city within the scope of the gamma radiation air environment comprehensive system monitoring data(2010-2014),the transient analysis of five years,continuous,accumulated gamma radiation absorbed dose rate of the air space distribution characteristics,trends and influencing factors.At the same time the rationality of the analysis of Suzhou city radiation monitoring network position.Based on the analysis of the characteristics of gamma air absorption dose rate for five years,the main research conclusions are as follows:1.Some monitoring points are not reasonable,the position should be adjusted appropriately,increase the number of monitoring points.2.Air gamma radiation absorbed dose rate exists obvious regional differences,its value greatly influenced by the surroundings,number and the surrounding radiation pollution sources,pollution source quantity the more the more concentrated,the higher the radiation absorbed dose.3.Gamma radiation absorbed dose and air relative humidity were positively correlated;And the environment radon concentration were positively correlated;Influenced by rainfall,cold wave factors,rainfall measured value is higher,the greater the cold wave effect,the greater the value is higher.4.Cumulative gamma radiation air absorption dose rate present the trend of slow growth year by year.5.The normal operation of qinshan and tian wan nuclear power plant has no effect on the overall measurement of the absorption dose rate of gamma radiation in Suzhou.After Japan's Fukushima nuclear power plant accident,Suzhou city's measured data is lower than the natural background radiation level of Jiangsu province.
