The montmorillonite(MMT)/rubber nanocomposites have caused widely attentionare because of its unique performance.The prepared of high performance montmorillonite/rubber nanocomposites decided by nano filler particles in rubber matrix dispersion and the phase interface compatibility.On the one hand,the operation is simple,and also have good dispersion in rubber matrix,therefore,the article uses of emulsion method to prepared rubber/montmorillonite nanocomposites;on the other hand,use of surface modification agent modified montmorillonite,in order to improve the montmorillonite dispersion in rubber.This article prepared the organic montmorillonite(OMMT)/butyronitrile latex nanocomposites that adopts the single anion or cation surface modification agent and compound anion and cation surface modification agent modified montmorillonite.And investigated the influence of mechanics performance and microscopic morphology by change the anion and cation surface modification agent type and anion and cation compound proportion illustrated the corresponding relation of performance and structure,that is supplyed solutions and theoretical basis for the NBRLCNs that the performance is excellent.The results of the experiment show:(1)The montmorillonite/ butyronitrile latex nanocomposites that use of organic montmorillonite preparation of comprehensive performance is better than that of pure rubber.(2)Using a single modifier modified inorganic montmorillonite modified,the effect of cationic modifying agent is better than that of the anion modifying agent.Different types of modifier may get different performance,the effect of modifier modification of quaternary ammonium salt type is better than the organic amine modified,modified inorganic montmorillonite by single STAB,the layer spacing increased,can be get performance excellent NBRLCNs.(3)The effect of modified by compound modified montmorillonite is superior to the single modifier.Using the STAB and SDS compound can get the well compatibility and disperse of organic montmorillonite in rubber latex particles,and also get biggest layer spacing.(4)It will have certain effect of montmorillonite/ butyronitrile latex nanocomposites that inorganic montmorillonite and anion cation modifying agent with different ratio.The mechanical properties is best when the inorganic montmorillonite with the cationic surface modifier is 2.5:1,cation and anion of 4:1,to prepared NBRLCNs with STAB and SDS compound preparation the tensile strength reached 19.31 MPa,tear strength is 61.43 MPa,CTAB and SDS compound preparation NBRLCNs tensile strength reached 13 MPa,tear strength is 37.15 MPa.
