Study On China's Environmental Impact Assessment From The Perspective Of Western Social Impact Assessment

As mass incidents happen constantly in recent years and the environmental problems cause numerous social problems,it is obvious that the environmental impact assessment has not give too much consideration into the social impact.As a legal approval process,although the environmental impact assessment in our country has been relatively mature,but it focuses only on the environment impact of a project or a policy,ignoring the impact of social aspects.Under the influence of China in the new normal situation,this evaluation exists many problems and deficiencies from the theory and the practice.In order to solve the problem from the source,preventing and alleviating the happening of the environmental mass incidents,enhancing the credibility and effectiveness of the environmental impact assessment,based on the western social impact assessment,this paper puts forward a route that combines the environmental impact assessment with the social impact assessment.This paper aims to further perfect the current environmental impact assessment system and provide theoretical basis and practical reference from the evaluation ideas,evaluation of the legal system,evaluation content,and the evaluation of the variables,process and method,evaluation in the process of public participation in this five aspects,.
