In this paper,the PPS / PET interwoven Velcro which can be used in high temperature is developed,including its fabric structure parameters,weaving process,sizing process,the hook-cutting process,flame retardant technology,mechanical properties and thermal properties.And the strength mechanical model of Velcro including peel strength and shear strength mechanical model are built to calculate and predict the strength of Velcro.Six kinds of PPS/ PET interwoven Velcro with different fabric parameters are designed,then through testing mechanical properties and evaluation,the optimal performance of the fabric parameters are got,which is:zonal hook density being 1 hook: 4 warps,warp direction being 1hook : 3 wefts.By studying the weaving process of PPS / PET interwoven Velcro,the optimal weaving process is: the height between the heating plate and the hook side of Velcro down to 2.5cm,the power increase to 250 W,the speed of the loom down to 620 rpm to easier into the hook,while increasing the irradiation time of the hook surface,which is conducive to better eliminate the stress of the hook.By studying the hook-cutting process of PPS / PET interwoven Velcro,pre-bake temperature110 ?,10 s,respectively,the hook-cutting tools are R,AR,E,R,AR,E,under this conditions,the Velcro's hooks are neat and mechanical properties are good.By studying the hook-cutting process of PPS / PET interwoven Velcro,we use the suitable cutting tool to obtain the Velcro with regular hooks and good mechanical properties.By researching the flame retardant finishing of the PPS / PET interwoven Velcro with optimal fabric parameter,we get the optimal solution of the immersed retardant finish,which is,flame retardant agent is 80g/L,the additive agent is 16g/L,dipping temperature is 50?,immersion time is 2 hours.In coating process,the flame retardant agent,baking temperature and baking time are set respectively as 4%,100?,and 2 minutes.Then the mechanical property of the finishing Velcro is tested,whose shear strength and peel strength both reach the national strength standard,and flame over time,dropping flame retardant time and burn length are up to standard,with a minimum amount of additives,dipping temperature and time,and lowest energy consumption.Using the SPSS statistical software for multivariate analysis of variance,at the significance level ? = 0.05,testing significance indicators,the results show:in dipping retardant finish,the amount of flame retardants and additives has a significantly influence on the amount of flame time and drip flame time;and the amount of flame retardant has an influence on burning length significantly,the amount of additives does not;dipping temperature and time do not have significant effects on the flame over time;drip flame time and burn length.In coating finishing,the amount of flame retardant impacts on retardant performance indicators significantly,while the baking temperature and time do not.By testing heat resistance of PPS / PET interwoven Velcro and others existing Velcros with different specifications at the same temperature,the results show: PPS/ PET interwoven Velcro's shear and peel strength,whose hook is PPS with a diameter of 0.18 mm are higher than nylon Velcro with the hook is PA66 and its hook's diameter is 0.20 mm,and its shear and peel strength are close by polyester Velcro with the hook is PET and its diameter is 0.22 mm.It says the shear force and peel strength of the single hook of PPS / PET interwoven Velcro are better than the others when used in high temperature,that is the heat resistance of polyphenylene sulfide is the best.By setting up single hook strong mechanical models of PPS / PET interwoven Velcro,and establishing the mechanical models of peel strength and shear strength combining with the hooking rate and hook density,correcting the parameters in models with the actual measured value,the final formulas of peel strength and shear strength are obtained,which can be used to calculate and forecast the strength of Velcro.with the percentage deviation of peel strength less than 0.6%and shear strength less than 2.5%.
