In this paper, we developed PPS/PA6 interwoven Velcro which can be used in high temperature and mainly studied on the production process, organization structure, thermal and mechanical properties of the Velcro.Hook cutting technology is the key to the fabrication of PPS/PA6 interwoven Velcro, we got the optimal process of hook cutting by lots of research, that is: putting the coated interwoven hook Velcro into oven to dry it at 170 ℃ for 10 min, then cut the hook with AE hooking cutter, the PPS/PA6 interwoven Velcro with neatly arranged hook and good mechanical property will be obtained.Six kinds of PPS/PA6 interwoven Velcro with different fabric parameters are designed after analyzing the ordinary Velcro organization structure. Then through testing and analysis, the result shows the Velcro’s fabric parameters with optimal mechanical property is the hook arranged density in weft being 1 hook: 4 warps, the hook arranged density in warp being 1 hook: 3 wefts.The strength of Velcro is mainly influenced by the hook density and hooking rate, the greater the hook density, the higher strength of Velcro.By researching the flame retardant finishing of the Velcro with optimal fabric parameter, we conclude the optimal process in dipping process, that is, flame retardant agent is 80g/L, the additive agent is 15g/L, dipping temperature is 50℃, dipping time is 3 hours. In coating process,the flame retardant agent, baking temperature and baking time were set respectively as 4%, 90℃,and 2 minutes. Then test the mechanical property of the finishing Velcro, the shear strength and peel strength are both higher than the national enhanced standard.Making heat resistance tests of the finishing Velcro. Fitting the shear strength j, peel strength b and temperature t1, time t2 respectively to get the nonlinear regression equations. After calculating, the results show that the Velcro can be used continuously for 2h at 180℃ and be used continuously for 7h at 150℃ under the premise that the peel strength and shear strength can reach the national standard. To make a further validation, we put the Velcro which hanging with thecorresponding weight into the oven, and find that the Velcro can be used continuously for 2h at180℃ and be used continuously for 6.5h at 150℃ under the premise that the peel strength and shear strength can reach the national standard.Setting up physical models of Velcro based on bending fracture of beam, and then establish the mechanical models of peel strength and shear strength with the hooking rate and hook density.Correcting the parameters in models with the actual measured value to get the final formulas of peel strength and shear strength, furthermore, the percentage deviation of peel strength is lower than 2% and shear strength lower than 5%, which can be used to calculate and forecast the strength of Velcro within a certain range.
