The Coal Mine will have urgent needed to recovering coal pillar before entered the final Period,Because of Isolated island pillar mining goaf due to dynamic pressure affect,The strata behavior is more intense than ordinary face on the whole exploitation period. The study on the strata movement characterstics and strata behavior regularity of the island working face of three-soft coal seam is the key to ensure safety in production. This paper combines based on the engineering background case of the first mine of ZhaoGu 11031-1 island working face.By analyzing the strata movement characterstics and strata behavior regularity of the island working face through data collection, theoretical analysis, field measurement, mechanical model and numerical simulation. This paper introduces the island face the typical "S" type overlying strata spatial structure, and analyzes the pressure distribution of the working surface mine strata spatial structure and strata law,and "three zones" height were also analyzed. In this paper a numerical model is established, which is combined with the 11031-1 island working face, the stress field and displacement field are analyzed in detail, then combine it with theory calculation, and get out of the isolated working face pressure step and advanced abutment pressure.By strata control observation of 11031-1 island working face and analysis of field measured data, and the results are consistent with theoretical analysis and numerical simulation results. The support resistance, the surrounding rock deformation and the measured results are in the allowable range of safety production. It is found there are not any anomalous behaviors in the mining process,so it can ensure the safety in mining production.
